Amazing outdoors

This morning, I met up with Linda Ahlgren, and we headed to Jonsered, just outside Göteborg. A mere 100 meters from the train station, we entered the forest, immersing ourselves in a landscape that felt like a scene from a fairy tale. Linda and I share a fluid approach to movement—running seamlessly transitions into walking, walking into running, talking into silence, and silence back into conversation. We paused at various spots to take in the soft morning light filtering through the trees and stopped to admire the vibrant green moss carpeting the ground.

We wrapped up our outing near Jonsereds Gamla Fabriker, home to Icebug's headquarters as well as other creative and inspiring companies. I highly recommend stopping by Brödfabriken, where we refueled with some delicious porridge and coffee—followed by a second helping of buns and cake.

Every Wednesday, Icebug organizes guided forest walks for seniors, providing an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while fostering a sense of community. It's a wonderful way to combine physical activity, nature, and social connection. This fantastic initiative is done in collaboration with Partille Kommun.
